A SHRM Certified Professional and PHR with more than 20 years of human resources experience, and a member of the New York Staffing Association Board of Directors, Ms. Dushane specializes in recruitment, employee relations, and training and development. She is guided by two central tenets: always do the right thing over turning a profit, and lead by example.
Ms. Dushane is a passionate community advocate and leader. She serves as Board Chair of CanCode Communities, a nonprofit that provides computer coding education and training to empower underemployed and underrepresented individuals. She has been active for many years in the Capital Region Human Resource Association, is on the board of the Tech Valley High School Foundation, and formerly served on the Tech Valley High School Business Alliance. In 2023 Ms. Dushane was appointed Chair of the American Staffing Association’s Engineering, IT, and Scientific Section Council. ASA is the professional trade association of the $161 billion U.S. staffing and recruiting industry. In 2022, she was named by the Albany Business Review to its “Power 50” list of business leaders who play a significant role in shaping the region. In addition, she was recognized by the Albany Business Review as one of its Women Who Mean Business (2017), and by the Capital Region Chamber as a Woman of Excellence in the category of Excellence in Management (2015).
